Description
A snapshot of the house of Marie Crean, Compton, California, summer 1933. The view shows the front and one side of the dwelling which looks to be at least several years old given the growth of vines on the house at several places and the side hedge. Due to the growth on the residence, it is difficult to discern the architectural style. At the rear is a garage and a car is parked on the drive to the side and in front of the structure. Marie Crean and her family lived at two addresses in Compton in the 1930 and 1940 censuses and came to the county in about 1926. With mild soiling, warping, discoloration, and abrasions, the condition is good overall.
