Description

A snapshot of the Los Angeles Electrical Inspectors "Amp-Hounds," 12 June 1923. The view is slightly different as item .1 of this accession, showing twenty-eight men, presumably inspectors for the Bureau of Light and Power, are standing and seated in a room with a wooden table, on which are five devices presumed to measure amperage, while, on each side, are panels with what look like doorbells on the left and one of fuses on the right. On a chalkboard at the back of the room is the text from which the title is derived and the date. On the reverse is a stamp from the Crown Kodak Studio on Broadway in downtown. With major soiling, an edge tear at the bottom, moderate fading, and album paper residue on the reverse, the condition is fair.
