Description
A snapshot of the south elevation of Mission San Gabriel, ca. 1910s. Taken from the sidewalk along Mission Drive, the view shows a portion of the adobe rectory, which has vines growing along its porch, and the belfry and south wall of the old church. A row of palm trees is at the right, marking the older, wider pathway in front of the structures, while a newer and narrower sidewalk is closer to the buildings. On the reverse is a pencil inscription, "Mission / San Gabriel, Cal." With minor soiling and abrasions, the condition is good overall.
