Description
A snapshot of the steamer "Avalon" at a dock, probably at Santa Catalina Island, ca. 1920s. The view shows the ship moored at the dock, which is at the right and this would appear to have been taken from the shore on Avalon looking northward. A small craft is in the water to the left. On the lower part of the reverse is a pencil inscription, "Ship / The / Avalon." With album paper residue on the reverse and minimal soiling and abrasions, the overall condition is good.
