Description
A snapshot of the top of Echo Mountain, Los Angeles, 21 June 1921. The photograph shows a woman dressed in winter cloths, carrying a thick fur coat, posed at the edge of the platform. she stands at the base of a staircase leading to the entrance of the hotel. The platform was used to receive visitors disembarking from the incline railway. The photograph was mounted onto black album paper and has since been removed. With minor surface soiling, adhesive residue, and fading, the object is in fair condition.
