Description
A snapshot of two women and a boy on the beach at Venice, California, 1929. The group consists of an older woman with her arm around a younger woman and the boys seated in a reclining beach chair under an umbrella. The older woman and young boy look at the camera while the younger woman looks off in the distance. They all are wearing street clothes. There is a physical resemblance between the two women, suggesting that they are related. In pen on the reverse is "Venice Beach CA / 1929." With light foxing on the reverse, some minor staining at the left of the image and slight abrasion, and warping, the condition is good overall.
