Description
A snapshot of two women near two beach side homes, Santa Monica ca. 1920s. The woman on the left wears a hat, and a long pleated cover or shawl made from what appears to be silk crepe with a floral pattern on the edges. Also, the collar appears to have floral embellishements. The other woman on the right, has a marcel hair wave, and wears a cotton dress with a knee-length wool wrap. There is a crowd of people and two homes behind the women. There is a penciled marking on the reverse side of the photo. It is in good condition overall, despite moderate fading and a light crease.
