Description
A snapshot photograph, "Mason in front of new houses on Gardena," ca. 1920s. The view is taken from a street looking towards hills dotted with oil derricks. Automobiles are parked along the street where there are new houses in construction. The person referred to is a mason working with concrete in a wheelbarrow at the right side. The title comes from a pencil inscription on the reverse. With some minor soiling and edge abrasions, the condition is good overall.
