Description
A snapshot photograph of Broadway looking north from about First, Los Angeles, ca. 1890s. The image is taken from a commercial building and the photgrapher evidently leaning out a window. The view takes in a street, likely First, crossing in the foreground and other commercial structures, a streetcar in the center of the street, some horse-drawn vehicles, and pedestrians. In the distance, on Fort Moore Hill, is the county courthouse. With some light soiling and very slight curvature, the condition is good.
