Description
A snapshot photograph of the hangar of B. F. Mahoney Aircraft Corporation, Mines Field, Los Angeles, ca. 1925. The view is taken from a distance and shows the simple structure with two wide openings. An airplane is parked in front and there is a flight school to the left. The sign atop the Mahoney structure indicates that the company offered "Airplane Service," a "School of Aviation," and that the company owned Ryan Airlines, a commercial and passenger line that traveled between Los Angeles and San Diego. At the bottom margin is an ink inscription, "Los Angeles Calif." With some soiling, stains on the reverse, warping, and edge abrasions, the overall condition is good.
