A souvenir cabinet card photograph of President Theodore Roosevelt and wife Anna, 1903. The President, at left, and his wife, to the right, are in separate oval frames. He is seated and wears a dark suit, vest, white shirt and dark tie and looks to his left. She stands, wearing a dark dress with white lace collar and holds an open book in her hands. Printed at the bottom is "President and Mrs. Theodore Roosevelt / Souvenir of Visit 1903." Inscribed in pencil on the reverse is "Visited Los Angeles May 8th 1903," perhaps for the Fiesta de las Flores. The images and mount are heavily stained, foxed, soiled and rubbed and the overall condition is poor.
