Description

A Spanish Colonial Revival house at the Hollywoodland subdivision, Los Angeles, ca. 1924. In the foreground is a road with an elaborate stone retaining wall and street lamps set into supports on the face of the wall. The two-story residence, appearing to be newly-completed, has a garage at the front, an entrance to the left and a one-story portion to the far left. A woman stands at the right side between the structure and a wall. In the distance are other houses in the fact. The number "40" is in white at the bottom left. A transfer of some trees appears just to the right of the house and there is adhesive residue on the reverse and curvature of the paper, but the overall condition is good.
