Description

A Spanish Colonial Revival house, Los Angeles, F. Morrison Boyd, 1925. Taken from a nearby street, the view shows the expansive structure with a two-story main block and projecting areas to the left and right. The landscaping, including lawns, small trees, bushes and shurbs appears to be relatively newly-planted. On the reverse is a pencil inscription, "the style of / the larger / homes / Los Angeles." Boyd, a road scout for the American Automobile Association, was on a 37,000-mile trip through the U.S., Mexico and Canada. With very light soiling, the condition is good.
