Description

A Spanish Colonial Revival residence, Los Angeles, F. Morrison Boyd, 1925. Taken from across the street, the image shows the two-story structure with a tile roof, an arched entrance, portico and balcony and a porte cochere to the right. The home sits above the road, so there is a lawn and a retaining wall above the sidelwak. A palm tree is planted next to the street at left. A pencil inscription at the reverse reads, "Los Angeles / everywhere / beautiful homes." Boyd, a road scout for the American Automobile Association, was on a 37,000-mile trip through the U.S., Mexico and Canada. With some very light soiling, the condition is good.
