Description

A spur, ca. 1850s. Believed to be from David Workman or his son William H., the piece has a plain leather heel band, one side of which is still attached to the branches, a thin link chain, and the branches and shank have what may be silver faces and are engraved, while the rowel is fully intact. The leather is cracked and dry but intact and there is much rust and soiling, so the condition is fair.
