Description
A lantern slide of a steel plant in Los Angeles, California. ca. 1920s. The exterior of the plant shows three large metal crucibles, one is hanging from a steel hook. Under the crucible are several molds. In front of the crucible are two men, one holding a pole to open a valve and fill the molds. Behind the molds, and around the other crucibles, is a furnace and pieces of wood. This slide is wrapped in black and white paper.This object is in good condition overall.
