Description
A stereoscopic photograph of Sibyl's Grotto at Wildwood Canyon, published by the Continent Stereoscopic Company for the Descriptive Views of the American Continent Series, ca. 1880. The stereograph features decorative panels on the right and left. Two men sit apart from each other at the base of a rock outcrop near the edge of the water. One looks straight at the photographer while the other looks up admiring the rock wall. Photographer is unknown since the company hired several. The item has minor loss at bottom right, and moderate fading with surface soiling.
