A stereoscopic photograph of the Sierra Madre Road in San Gabriel Valley, published by the Continent Stereoscopic Company for the Descriptive Views of the American Continent Series, ca. 1880. The stereograph features decorative panels on the right and left. View of a narrow dirt road with low brush on each side. To the right is a gnarled tree with some sparse leafage at the very top. Photographer is unknown since the company hired several. The item has minor foxing throughout and moderate fading.
