Description
"Mission at San Fernando," ca. 1900. The view is taken from across a dirt road and shows a long front of the structure with an arched portico along the entire length. A few persons stand at an opening to the right end of the portico and three is a simple bench in front of them. A mission bell is at the center next to the road. Also of note is a chimney at the far left side in the corner. To the left of the mission building is a new-looking Neoclassical two-story house. The title is in pencil at the bottom. With some soiling and edge abrasion, the general condition is good.
