Description
A stereoscopic photograph of 4th Street looking west from Main Street, Los Angeles, Garden City Foto Company, ca. 1903. Taken from the intersection and at the north side of 4th, the view looks toward the Braly Building, then under construction, while portions of other commercial buildings, a few pedestrians and vehicles, and power lines for electric streetcars are also in view. Printed information about the photography studio is on the reverse. With some fading, especially on the left image, which also has ink on the lower right, and small stains, soiling and bumping on the matte, the overall condition is fair.
