Description
A stereoscopic photograph of "Avalon Catalina Island," ca. 1900s. The image is taken from near the northeastern extremity of the island and looks toward a portion of Avalon in the distance. Under magnification can be seen part of the pier, the fishing club, houses, hotels, and watercraft in the harbor. The hills to the west of town rise up further in the distance. The title is inscribed in ink on the reverse. With some stains on the left image, soiling, and edge rubbing, the condition is good overall.
