Description
A stereoscopic photograph of "Mt. Lowe Inclined Railroad, Mt. Lowe, California, U.S.A," Strohmeyer and Wyman, 1898. The view is of famed steep incline up the San Gabriel Mountains above Altadena to the mountain resort with a car just departed from the platform and heading up the track. Steps on either side of the track show where passengers embark and disembark and there are some trees alongside the route. With some soiling, small stains, heavy yellowing, and abrasions, the overall condition is fair.
