Description
A stereoscopic photograph of ostriches in a pen, Garden City Photo Co., Los Angeles, ca. 1900s. The image is a closeup of a few of the younger animals in a wide pen bordered by a short fence with wire screening. In the background is an adult ostrich behind a taller rail fence. Portions of trees are also in view at what is likely the Cawston Ostrich Farm in South Pasadena. The photographers' stamp is on the reverse of the card. With some small stains, a crease or two, and edge abrasions, the overall condition is good.
