A stereoscopic photograph of the Rancho Santa Anita and lake, California, ca. 1880s. The rancho and lake are visible. Elias J. Baldwin (1828-1909) owned the rancho at the time the photograph was taken. A side portion of Baldwin's residence the Queen Anne style cottage, and his Coach Barn is visible. There is an ink stamp on the reverse side that reads "John R. Meister/Books & Stationery & Confectionary/ 48 N. Spring St. Los Angeles Cal."With moderate fading, surface soiling most notable on reverse side, and creases, the object is in fair condition.
