Description
A stereoscopic photograph of two women at the front steps to Hotel Alvarado, Westlake Park, Los Angeles, 11 September 1927. Taken from the sidewalk just to the east, the image shows the women standing next to steps flanked by light fixtures and which lead to the courtyard entrance of the Moorish style structure. The sidewalk, landscaping and portions of buildings down the street in the background are of note. An ink inscription on the reverse reads: "Hotel Alvarado Entrance / Looking west on Sixth Street/ Los Angeles / Sun. Sept 18-1927." With warping, minor soiling, edge abrasion, and some browning on the reverse, the overall condition is good.
