A stereoscopic photograph with a view of Los Angeles from the court house, ca. 1880s. Photograph taken by Thomas E. Stanton, South Main Street as part of the Los Angeles Stereoscopic View Company. A birds eye view of the area surrounding the courthouse, perhaps taken from the rooftop. Several commercial buildings are nearest and residences and trees are visible in the distance. The photograph includes the photographer's information on the reverse. With discoloration and overall wear, the object is in good condition.
