A stereoview of the Nadeau Hotel, ca. 1880, taken by photographer F. H. Rogers in Los Angeles and published by A & A Lightning Viewing Company. The view of the facade shows it from an elevated view. The four story building has a pediment at the center on top of the roof. The first floor houses stores such as one that sells watches and jewelry. Along the street in front of the hotel are stores such as a tree depot and coffee houses. There are also a few horse drawn carriages in the street. With moderate soiling, minor abrasion to the edges, and fading, the image is in fair condition.
