A stereoview photograph of the grapevine arbor of Washington Gardens, Los Angeles, ca. 1880s. Photograph by Henry T. Payne part of Payne's Semi-Tropic California series. A view of the grape vines growing along a wooden trellis. At what appears to be the center of the pavilion is an open space where several men and women stand around. The vines are full of grapes. Washington Gardens was later renamed Chutes Park. With discoloration and minor abrasion, the object is in good condition.
