Description
A stereoscopic photograph of Wilmington breakwater, Los Angeles, ca. 1872. The image, #134 is by Henry T. Payne. The stereoview shows a view of the docks by San Pedro. On the shore are stacks of long pieces of timber. Several men are in the view as well as two horses. On the horizon, faintly visible are a few steam ships. There is a pencil inscription on the front. The object is generally in good condition with minor surface soiling, moderate fading and abrasion damage along the edges.
