Description
A stock certificate for Calpetro Producers Sundicate, Los Angeles, ca. 1923. The unused Certificate of Beneficial Interest has the stamped number 2555 and would have been for increments of shares at a par value of $100 each, with space for owner's name, number of shares, the date and signatures of the secretary and general managed. A vignette of oil wells, including a pair of gushers is of note, and the reverse has space for comleting the sale, assignment and transfer of the shares. With a few creases, light browning and light staining, the condition is good.
