A studio photograph of Frank Welch, ca. 1919. The young man appears to be in his late teens to early twenties. Welch is seen from the bust up and wears a white shirt, neck tie and coat. His hair is cut short and parted on the side. He faces the camera and has a serious look about him. His signature is toward the lower section of the image and is cut in an oval shape, presumably to be adhered to a cabinet card or photo frame. With silvering along the edges and abrasions, and minor soiling, it is in good condition.
