Description
A studio portait of Priscilla Ogier, Witzel, Los Angeles, ca. 1927. The view shows the woman seated and wearing a sleeveless beaded dress and wearing a cloche hat in the "flapper" style of the time. On the reverse is an inscription of the subject's measurements and physical characteristics and reference at the bottom to dancing. Ogier, a native of the Isle of Man near England, worked as a nurse in Los Angeles and Michigan, but appears to have sought a career in entertainment, hence the portrait. The overall condition is good despite the minor warping
