Description
A studio portrait carte de visite of three children, Valentine Wolfenstein, Los Angeles, ca. 1872. The two girls and a boy are dressed in formal clothes and seated upon chairs and an animal rug. The ages appear to be an 11-year old girl, a nine-year old girl and a seven-year old boy. There is no identiification of the subjects, though the back has Wolfenstein's cartouche. With foxing, soiling and some small stains, as well as edge rubbing, the overall condition is good.
