Description
A studio portrait in a diagonal position of a man, M. A. Wesner, Los Angeles, ca. 1890s. The view shows the man in a head and upper torso view with him wearing a dark wool suite, white shirt and light-colored tie. The image is printed so that it is oriented diagonally within a diamond-shaped frame and mounted on a square shaped matte. Wesner's stamp is on the reverse and there is a pencil inscription there reading, it seems, "Wally Higgs." With abrasions along the edges, creases, discoloration, and soiling, the condition is fair overall.
