Description
A studio portrait of a couple with oranges, Norton, Los Angeles, ca. 1905. The image shows a man in a vest, white shirt, bow-like tie and dark trousers holding a basket of oranges. Next to him is a woman in a dark full-length skirt, white blouse and patterned neckwear standing on a box and holding an orange in her upraised right hand, while her left rests on fruit in the basket. Behind them are some small orange trees. With some soiling and staining, especially on the matte, the overall condition is good.
