A studio portrait of a family of five, C. E. Kohler, Los Angeles, ca. 1910s. The full-length view shows the husband standing in the back, his wife seated in a side chair, the youngest boy sitting on a side table with his feet on his mother's lap, the middle son in front, and the older son behind and next to his father. The boys have crew cuts and the older two wear simple clothing, the elder has a striped jacket on. The mother wears a black dress with a white round collar and the father has on a dark suit and a dress shirt sans tie. With light soiling, dented corners and light rubbing, the overall condition is good.
