A studio portrait of a man, Dewey, Los Angees, ca. 1890s. The image shows the young man, perhaps in his twenties, dressed in a high-button coat, dark vest and pants, white shirt and necktie. In his right hand he holds a cane and in his left hand he has a straw hat. With some light soiling and eage rubbing, the condition is good.
