A cabinet card photograph of a studio portrait of a man, Dewey, Los Angeles, ca. 1890s. The image shows the gentleman, wearing a dark high-buttoned suit with the top button fastened, a white shirt, dark boots and white handkerchief in the breast pocket, holding a derby hat in his right hand, which rests on a three-tiered side table. On the right is an arm chair with a coverlet or some other fabric draped on the back and one arm. With some stains on the reverse and light edge rubbing, the overall condition is good.
