A studio portrait of a man, taken by Blanchard, Galeria de la Plaza, Los Angeles, ca. 1890. The man stands with one hand resting on a low wall. The background is of an outdoor pagoda scene. He wears a textured suit with dotted shirt including vest and pocket chain with his hat in his hand, ring on his right hand, handkerchief and lapel button. The item is in fair condition with moderate surface soiling throughout and pest damage at the edges, bottom right corner is severely creased.
