Description

A studio portrait of a teenaged girl holding a soprano saxophone, Albert Witzel, Los Angeles, ca. 1925. The subject is seated on what looks like a bench with a hazy backdrop. She wears a longsleeved dress with a ribbon attached at the collar that extends down the front. In her lap and held in her left hand is the instrument with something underneath it but it is unclear what it is. Witzel's name and city is at the lower right and his stamp on the reverse. With browning on the reverse from something that touched the paper and light soiling and rubbing, the condition is good.
