A studio portrait of a two children, Frank Schumacher, Los Angeles, ca. 1900. The image shows the two, assumed to be siblings, standing in front of a backdrop with plant material on the ground. There is a boy, about seven years of age, at the left, wearing a long overcoat, a coat, white necktie, breeches, boots and a cap. To the right is a child, assumed to be a girl, with a dress with striped sleeves and collar and a broad-brimmed hat. The photographer's name and address is imprinted at the front bottom and repeated on the back. With some losses on the matte, some heavy soiling, stains and edge rubbing, the condition is fair.
