Description
A studio portrait of a woman, James B. Blanchard, Los Angeles, ca. 1890s. The head and shoulder view is of a woman in her twenties or thirties, presumably, and she has her hair pulled tightly back and wears adress with horizontal striping, a high collar and a black silk decorative piece at the front, attached to which is a brooch. Blanchard's cartouche is at the bottom and infomation on reprints and his address is on the reverse. With minor soiling and a stain or two, the condition is good.
