Description
A studio portrait of a young girl, Hazel Chambers, Los Angeles, ca. 1910s. The image shows the approximately eight-year old girl wearing a white dress with lace sleeves, white hose, and white shoes with unusual ornamented buckles. She holds her arms at the back of her head, presumably to show the sleeves better. On the reverse is an ink inscription reading "Hazel Chambers / about 8 yrs. / in Los Angeles." With stains, soiling and rubbing to the thick matte, but the image relatively clear, the overall condition is good.
