Description
A studio portrait of a young girl with superimposed props, M. A. Wesner, Los Angeles, 1890s. The view shows the child wearing a white dress and sitting next to a fence prop with a small bonnet resting on a rail. Superimposed in front is a small palm with a floral arrangement, is a Chinese-style vase, and what might be photographs--these clearly being shot separately and added to the image of the child. The overall condition is good despite the minor soiling.
