Description
A studio portrait of a young Japanese American girl, Los Angeles, ca. 1920. A young girl wearing a plaid overcoat sits in a damask armchair. Her hair is cropped short with straight bangs across her forehead. There is an ink inscription on the reverse, written in Japanese. The photograph is generally in good condition despite the darkening of the image and a slight crease toward the bottom left.
