Description
A studio portrait of a young woman (a) with a paper folder (b), Gentry Studios, Los Angeles, ca. 1920s. The image shows the woman, perhaps a teen or in her twenties, from the upper torso up. She wears a silk chiffon, short sleeve dress or blouse with a scalloped collar, lace trimming and vertical pleats that run along the right side, and a lace flounce design near the sleeve area. Her hair looks to be in a Marcel wave and she has on dark round-rimmed glasses. The folder is dark green and has a marbled look. With light soiling and browning to the photo and abrasions to the folder, the condition is good.
