Description
A studio portrait of a young woman in a nearly full-length pose by The Johnson Studio, Los Angeles, ca. 1910s. The subject stands and faces slightly to the right and wears a light-colored coat and an inner garment with a white color. A black sash or tie-like item is also draped around her neck and hangs in front, where there is a large corsage. her hat has an abundance of floral material and she seems to be holding golves in her hands. Johnson's surname is written in pencil at the lower right. The image is enclosed in a paper portfolio with an onion-skin like sheet. There is much abrading of the portfolio with some soiling, but the photo is clean, so the condition is good.
