Description
A cabinet card studio portrait of a young woman, James D. Westervelt, Los Angeles, ca. 1887. The image shows the woman, likely in her twenties, in half-view and seated. She has on a white dress with a scalloped collar and lace sleeves, while she has a corsage pinned to the center of the dress at the bosom. She is turned slightly and looks right of the camera. A floral bouquet is behind her. Westervelt's name and address are at the bottom. With abrasions, some stains, soiling and edge abrasions, the overall condition is fair.
