Description
A studio portrait of actor Frank Montgomery as a tramp character, ca. 1910. The full-length image from shows the performer in costume of tattered clothing and makeup, including dishelved hair and beard as "Monty." It is evident that the photo was torn as there was another actor, perhaps a previous wife of the actor, in another section. With severe dampstaining, heavy soiling, losses, dogeared corners and heavy damage to the matte, the condition is poor.
