Description
A studio portrait of actor Violet Schram by Albert W. Witzel, Los Angeles, inscribed 9 May 1925. The view shows Schram in profile with her shoulders bared. An inscription at the lower right has her autograph and also "To Lucy / My Flower Girl / With Many Thanks," the recipient likely being Lucy Vigare, a dancer in the Mission Play, in which Schram also appeared. Witzel's mark is at the lower left of the image, which was trimmed at the corners, while his stamp is on the reverse. With some stains and soiling, the condition is good.
